Julie Hansen is the founder of Acting for Sales, a professional actor and the author of ACT Like a Sales Pro! a finalist for “Top Sales and Marketing Book of 2011.”

Drawing on an award-winning sales career and her passion and experience as an actor, Julie offers a unique perspective and innovative tools for communicating with confidence and engaging customers in new and compelling ways using the secrets of the performer.

Forward-thinking companies like Novartis, National Public Radio, Coldwell Banker and Fox Television have embraced Julie’s program to gain a critical edge and generate new revenue in a competitive sales economy.

Internationally-published, Julie and her innovative techniques have been featured on NBC and in many publications across the globe, including on the cover of Ken Blanchard and Stephen Covey’s Sales and Service Excellence (Oct 2011), Selling Power, ColoradoBiz and Entrepreneur’s ThinkSales Magazine, South Africa.

Julie was a top producer in broadcast, publishing and real estate and the director of sales for a popular national magazine.  She credits her success to applying the skills she used to win roles in national commercials, television (including HBO’s Sex & The City) and New York stage productions to the Sales Model.  Julie graduated from Colorado State University and teaches acting at The University of Denver Lifelong Learning Institute.
